National Hot Rod Association driver Larry Dixon lived through the horrifying crash on Saturday after his car disintegrated while it was going the eye-watering speed.
Mr Dixon crashed into the wall at the Auto-Plus Raceway in Gainesville, Florida, and flipped sickeningly as the horrified crowd looked on.
